Ofsted Reports

The latest OfSTED inspection (June 2010) was very positive about much of our work. It said:-

• The school provides a very high level of care, and advice and guidance for groups of pupils and for individuals.
• Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities flourish personally and make good progress
• Pupils have excellent spiritual, moral, social and cultural awareness
• Pupils are making good progress
• Teachers have good subject knowledge and high expectations
• There is a clear drive from the recently appointed head teacher and the schools leadership team to improve all aspects of the school
• Pupils behaviour is good - inspectors found that the school had a calm and business like atmosphere and that behaviour management systems worked well
• The ethos of inclusion permeates the school and every member of the community is valued
