Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding through the glen...
On Tuesday 13th December Cumberland School continued with its Christmas time tradition and performed their annual pantomime. This year the year 10 BTEC Performing Arts students performed “Robin Hood”.
In the afternoon the school invited a selection of local primary schools to come along and enjoy the fun, with lots of booing for the Sheriff and cheering for our hero in green. The performance was a fantastic success and continues to develop links with our local feeder school.
In the evening the pupils performed to the public and once again they did themselves and the school proud. The show was an amazing success and an experience that the pupils will remember for a long time.
The Drama department would like to thank everyone who helped put on the show especially the Art technicians and Mrs Hodgekiss, without whom there would be no set or costumes. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
