  Global Event @ Cumberland

  This week we had the honour of hosting an international event - Mission X - train like an astronaut. This event involved pupils from Newham, Italy and Japan. We also welcomed NASA astronaut Yamis Garcia and three international athletes. Please go to www.ustream.tv/nasaedge for further details. 

  Congratulations to Subatha Sivakurunathan, Tasnia Chowdhury, Anika Parvin and Dowell Ngimbi who won the Lend Lease Olympic competion. They beat Rokeby School who came a very close second. They recieved Westfield Vouchers and a VIP Tour of the Olympic Site.

  Start of Term

  Congratulations to 7R, 8B, 9R and 10D who lead our Vivo Rewards - league tables. Even bigger congratulations to our pupils of the week:

  Shan Shah - (10)

  At the start of the new term our focus has been on improving our learning environment by reducing litter and arriving to lessons on time. Considerable improvement has already been seen in both these areas.
